Welcome to the Hog at Horsley
The Hog at Horsley is a vibrant, family-run freehouse in the village of Horsley, just a mile away from the popular market town of Nailsworth nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds.
We like to think of the The Hog as being slightly different from your usual pub. It has a unique quirky interior that feels as though you could be hanging out in a friends’ sitting room, whilst being served a pint of local ale or sipping on a fine wine. Wherever possible, the ingredients for our Mediterranean influenced menu are sourced within a 15-mile radius of Horsley, we’re committed to our community-based ethos.
The Hog is a pub for everyone. Our customers range from food lovers coming from all over to try the exciting, ever evolving menu, to the locals in the village who use the space as a place to hold meetings, birthdays and even hosts the celebrations when the local football team wins a match!
Greg and Caroline Saturley opened the Hog in May 2014 and in this time it has achieved so much, won many awards, hosted many a wedding reception and enjoyed the sounds of many bands playing all sorts of live music. It holds open decks nights where everyone gets a chance to play their favourite vintage vinyl and encourages all the banter during its monthly pub quiz night.
The Hog is good for a swift one after work, a girl’s night out or somewhere to bring your grandparents for a delicious Sunday roast. Dog and children friendly, wheelchair accessible and very capable to look after any dietary requirements.
So, from its interior design to its delicious food and drink, and welcoming atmosphere, The Hog is well worth a visit or two!
